Bitter cold morning in the metro before slow warmup

Subzero temperatures and bitter wind are the Valentines the weather is giving to Minnesotans Friday morning.

Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said although temperatures are about the same as they were on Thursday, the wind chill was slightly less frigid. Barlow said wind chills dropped to about 25 degrees below zero Friday, compared with 30 to 35 degrees below zero Thursday.
