Minnesota Food Company to Produce Healthier Foods

November 30, 2015 04:12 PM

The Schwan Food Company will be looking to produce healthier foods in the near future.

The Marshall-based company sells frozen food products. They sell their products in stores and their products can also be accessed through some restaurants and schools.

They will make their foods healthier by cutting ingredients and artificial flavors along with dyes. Also in their plans is to eliminate hydrogenated oils, trans fats and high-fructose corn syrup.

The healthier ingredients will be implemented over the next two years.
