KSTP reporter Brett Hoffland says St. Paul Police spokesperson Steve Linders told him that all six cars have been recovered as of 6:48 p.m.

Linders said the remaining cars were found in Woodbury, abandoned.

The following is a previous story before the update Thursday.

Three of the six cars stolen from a man this past Sunday have been recovered while police are still searching for the other three.

According to the St. Paul Police Department, the LeMans, Firehawk and Coup deVille cars are on their way back to a 77-year-old man who had six cars stolen on Sunday.

"Well it's devastating, really a surprise," said John Ritter, who had his cars stolen.

Surveillance footage of the two suspect vehicles shows one sports car and one SUV.

"It's hard to believe they'll get away with it," Ritter said.

Since this incident on Sunday morning, Ritter says he's stepping up security with added locks around the facility.

"I think I got broken into 40 years ago so it's really pretty safe, but these are different times," Ritter said.

While three are returning, another three are still missing and police are asking for the public's help in locating them.

"I think they were kind of foolish, it's kind of stupid that they put their lives on the line and I imagine they're going to get caught," Ritter said.

The three missing cars are a 1967 Chevy Impala, a 1965 GTO convertible and a 2000 GMC Truck.
