32-year-old Nicholas Hervin of Morris, MN was killed Wednesday night after he was hit by a vehicle.

According to the Stevens County Sheriff the incident occurred at 7:32 P.M. on the night of May 15. A man identified as Joshua Dewald age 40 of Brooten, MN was driving on Stevens County Road 10 just west of Steven County Road 1, when he drifted into the westbound lane and collided with a pickup truck parked on the side of the road. The collision caused Dewald's vehicle to go sideways down the embankment where it struck Hervin who was fishing.
