A man was shot in the face Saturday morning in St. Paul, according to police.

Hospital staff, though, report he is expected to survive.


Police said officers were called to a parking lot on Concordia Avenue around 4:30 a.m. on a report of several shots fired.

At the scene, police found several casings and two vehicles that were hit by gunfire. While officers were investigating, a man arrived at Regions Hospital with a gunshot wound to the face.

No arrests have been made. St. Paul police are investigating.
