St. Louis Park's Torah Academy celebrates arrival of new Torah scroll

On Monday, the Torah Academy community celebrated the arrival of a new Torah. 

Those who practice Judaism live their lives according to the Torah. The Torah is handwritten on parchment paper and eventually fades after years of use.

"We have a new Torah scroll, which is Gods word to the people and we want to show our full energy and excitement for that," Rabbi Joshua Borenstein said.
