St. Louis Park Barista Honored by City, Customers

A St. Louis Park barista received a special honor over the weekend.

The St. Louis Park City Council proclaimed Sunday Tim Titus Day.


Titus recently retired after working at the Starbucks on Excelsior Boulevard for 15 years. Titus is so loved by his customers they held a retirement party for him on Sunday.

"I think it's a lesson to do more than just the job," Titus said. "What I would say is the job includes the customer, includes your passion, includes everything connected to building community."

Titus says he will return to the coffee shop, but this time, as a customer.
