A St. Cloud man is in custody after police say he lit an adult entertainment store on fire Thursday afternoon.

St. Cloud police said 32-year-old Cody Alexander Mann entered the Pure Pleasure store on the 600 block of Highway 10 South about 12:30 p.m., poured gasoline on the store's interior and lit it on fire.

The store's lone clerk was able to make it outside and call authorities. Police said Mann was located several blocks from the scene and arrested without incident. A motive has not been established, police said.

The St. Cloud Fire Department extinguished the fire and ventilated the building. The store clerk was uninjured, and nobody else was inside at the time, according to police.

Mann was being held in the Benton County Jail on probable cause first-degree arson charges, St. Cloud police said in a release.

St. Cloud police said Thursday night that the entire interior of the establishment received heavy heat and smoke damage. The damage is estimated initially at $380,000, making it a total loss.

That's due to a $325,000 loss of furniture and inventory, and $55,000 in structural/building damage.
