The Minneapolis Park and Rec Department is issuing a warning to dog owners and walkers.

Spikes were found stuck in the ground along a trail leading to the Minnehaha Dog Park.

Authorities say a check of the area did not turn up anything else, but those attending the park are asked to be vigilant.

Anyone seeing anything suspicious is asked to call the Park and Rec Board, Minneapolis police or Animal Care and Control.
