Two people are seriously injured from a shooting Saturday afternoon in south Minneapolis, a police spokesman said.

Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder said officers responded to a shooting inside a residence in the 4900 block of Lyndale Avenue South.

Officers found two people with gunshot wounds inside the home. They were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in "grave condition," Elder said.

The shooting is believed to be domestic in nature. Police are not looking for suspects, and there is no threat to the public.
