So Minnesota: Rosemount mother gives back this holiday season with 'Best Christmas Ever'

Updated: December 06, 2019 07:24 PM

During the holidays, many people look for ways to help others. After going through a tragedy, one Rosemount woman received a lot of help last Christmas and now she's the one giving back.

Last year, Jillayne Lazer's family was selected by the nonprofit "Best Christmas Ever." Lazer's husband was killed in a car accident.

This Christmas, Lazer has teamed up with the nonprofit to help two families.

"I wanted to get involved this year, and my kids also were super excited and wanted to kind of give back what we got last year," Lazer said.

Jessica Lozano, with Best Christmas Ever, is working with Lazer to help the two families.

"I think if we can shine a little bit of light on these families," Lozano said. "A community that can rally around them, support, and hopefully just have a little sparkle on their holiday season."

Together, Lazer and Lozano will help two families who have recently lost loved ones.

If you'd like to help the two families, you can see the online fundraisers by clicking the links below.

You can also stop in at a "Gift Tree location," grab a gift tag off the tree with a specific item for the family and return the item to the same location unwrapped. Those locations are also below.
