January 03, 2018 06:15 PM

Two suspects have been arrested after a female victim was found dead in a vehicle in Columbia Heights Monday afternoon, but authorities think the victim was killed in Fridley.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, authorities responded to the 4200 block of NE 5th Street in Columbia Heights after receiving a call reporting a suspicious vehicle that had been idling on the street for a long period of time.

Upon arrival, officers found the female victim, identified as 29-year-old Linda Pa Vue from St. Paul, in the back seat. Authorities said Vue was dead and had suffered "significant injuries." The official cause of death has not yet been determined, according to the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office, which is conducting the autopsy.

Authorities arrested 35-year-old Fue Her, of Fridley, in connection with the incident. The preliminary investigation revealed Her is allegedly a companion of Vue. Her was being held at the Anoka County Jail on possible second-degree murder charges.

Her's brother, Kong Her, was also taken into custody and was being held at the Anoka County Jail on possible aiding an offender charges.

Neither Fue Her nor Kong Her had been formally charged as of Wednesday morning.

Although Vue's body was discovered in Columbia Heights, authorities stated the incident likely took place at a residence in Fridley.

Linda Vue's father, Eng Vue, said Wednesday his daughter was a good person.

"Linda is a good girl," Vue said. "I only have one girl. I really love Linda. I can't talk because she's gone."

Linda Vue leaves behind her family, including a young daughter.

Anyone with any information regarding the incident is asked to call the sheriff's office at 763-427-1212.
