Shakopee Police: Multiple Fights Break Out at Valleyfair, No Reported Injuries

Multiple fights broke out at Valleyfair late Saturday night, causing the park to close early. 

The Shakopee Police Department posted on their Facebook page, saying the incident occurred late Saturday night. According to police, officers responded to a report of multiple fights at the park. The number of people running throughout the park increased substantially and was difficult to control. Valleyfair closed early due to a large number of altercations.

Police say there are no reported injuries or damaged property from the fight at this time. There were reported comments about a knife being used in a fight, but at this time police say they have no evidence of any weapons being used in the altercations. 

Three individuals were cited for minor offenses.
