A Shakopee artist has won the 2020 turkey stamp contest sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

A release said a painting by Mark Thone was picked from among 12 submissions to be featured on the 2020 turkey stamp. Thone previously won the contest for the 2018 migratory waterfowl stamp.
