Services planned for off-duty St. Paul firefighter killed in recent homicide

Services have been planned for the off-duty St. Paul firefighter who was killed in a recent homicide.

Tom Harrigan, 36, was shot to death in his home on the city's east side on Sept. 2.

According to a release from the St. Paul Fire Department, a visitation was held for Harrigan Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at O'Halloran & Murphy in St. Paul. 

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Fort Snelling Chapel 1 Tower. 

Harrigan will be interred at Fort Snelling.
