Authorities have identified the man whose boat was found unoccupied on the Minnesota River near Belle Plaine Monday.

The Scott County Sheriff's Office identified the man as 62-year-old Bruce Copenhaver of Watertown.

Copenhaver's boat was found running and unoccupied near the shoreline of the river. His truck and boat trailer were also located near the Minnesota River boat landing in Belle Plaine. 

Searches for Copenhaver continued Tuesday.
