Santa makes sensory-friendly visit for kids with autism

Santa made a special visit to kids with autism spectrum disorder Saturday in Woodbury.

For these kids, a trip to the mall can be tough because of the loud noises, bright lights and crowds.


During the event at Fraser in Woodbury mental health clinic, kids got to take photos with Santa in a separate room so they wouldn't be distracted or overwhelmed.

Another sensory-friendly Santa event will be held at Fraser in Coon Rapids on Sunday.
