Over the last 88 days, students and staff of the Barron Area School District supported and encouraged one another as they hoped for the safe return of Jayme Closs.
On Friday night, they celebrated that the 13-year-old has been reunited with her family during the Barron High School basketball game against Cumberland High School.

Prior to the national anthem, players from each team took a photo together while wearing blue wristbands to honor Jayme. Blue was chosen because it is her favorite color.
"It's amazing they never gave up hope, and they just kept looking for her," said Jennifer Eggleston. "And holding out that hope I think is what kind of brought the whole community and surrounding area just always looking for her."
