After being closed due to flooding from a rainy spring, a portion of Rice Street in both Shoreview and Vadnais Heights is expected to reopen Tuesday, according to a news release from Ramsey County.

The county said the road will reopen between Vadnais Boulevard and Gramsie Road.

Lane closures have been in place since April 17 due to flooding from Lake Vadnais, according to the county.

Ramsey County Public Works is set to raise the height of a stretch of the road in June to prevent future flooding issues.
