A witness told authorities they had heard one to four gunshots and saw a man running from the scene toward Bush Street and Highway 58.

When first responders arrived, they began administering CPR to the gunshot victim, police said. The man was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester and then airlifted from there to another hospital.
