Ramsey County is moving forward with the developer of the Riversedge Project.

It is being built where the Ramsey County Jail and West Publishing building formally were, located at Wabasha Street and Kellogg Boulevard in downtown St. Paul along the Mississippi River.

The project with developer AECOM includes four towers with apartments, condos, hotel, retail, office space and a parking garage.

"Quite frankly I'm very pleased," Ramsey County Commissioner Rafael Ortega said. "I think with AECOM, they are a good partner. I think they've been transparent with us, forthcoming and very creative."

The nearly $800 million-project will be broken into three phases with groundbreaking expected in 18 to 24 months. For more information on the project and additional renderings, click here.
