The 2040 plan has policy recommendations about housing, transportation, economic development, public health, the arts and the environment given the arrival of an estimated 700,000 new residents in the Twin Cities during the next 20 years.

Minneapolis has also proposed a plan.

The meeting will be held in Room 40 of City Hall, located at 15 West Kellogg Boulevard.

Following the public meeting, the planning commission will submit comments to the Comprehensive and Neighborhood Planning Committee, which will make its final recommendations in February.
