Prosecutors are seeking to seal evidence in the Mohamed Noor case, according to court records.
The former Minneapolis police officer is charged with fatally shooting Justine Damond in an alley in July 2017. Damond had called 911 to report a possible sexual assault behind her home.
Documents filed by the prosecution oppose the public disclosure of supplemental materials submitted by both the defense and the prosecution.
"Public disclosure will have the irreversible effect of preventing the defendant from receiving a fair trial in this case and any other collateral legal proceeding," according to the document.
The evidence includes the testimony of grand jury witnesses, psychological records and files and video related to a May 2017 traffic stop where Noor allegedly pulled out his firearm.
