Preparing for flu season

Local health officials are urging the public to be prepared for this year's flu season. 

Allina Health Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Frank Rhame joined KSTP Saturday morning to share some tips.

According to the Minnesota Health Department, five people have already been hospitalized this year by the flu. 

Health officials: It's time to give flu vaccine another shot

Peak flu season is between December and February, therefore, the CDC suggests getting a flu shot by the end of this month.
