Police are working to find the persons responsible for throwing screws and nails on roads in Big Lake, Zimmerman, Orrack and rural Sherburne County.

Big Lake Police said Tuesday that several locations in the areas have been hit over the past week by someone throwing nails and screws on the roads.

The department said a variety of vehicle have been damaged because of the nails and screws, including a squad car.

Police said they're working to identify those responsible, and are reviewing video from nearby businesses.

If your vehicle was damaged in connection to the case, the department asks you to report it online here.
