A 24-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested after police say he stabbed another person over a burrito.

Eau Claire Police said in a Facebook post that officers were made aware of a stabbing in the 400 block of Water Street at about 2:40 a.m. on Sunday.

Officers used public space cameras to find the fleeing suspect as emergency personnel arrived on scene to transport the victim to a local hospital, police said.

Police were then able to locate and arrested the suspect, Jason A. Fox, a few blocks from the scene.

Officers learning from witnesses that Fox got upset with the victim and his friends after he thought they cut him off in line to get a burrito at El Patio, police said. The restaurant then closed and when the victim left El Patio, Fox confronted him, upset that he didn't get his burrito.

Police said after arguing with each other briefly, Fox stabbed the victim in the chest area.

The victim was treated at the hospital and released.

Fox was charged with substantial battery and use of a dangerous weapon.
