Police Search for Suspects in 2 Separate Minneapolis Shootings

Police are looking for suspects involved in two separates shootings in Minneapolis Sunday.

The first incident occurred just before 2 a.m. near 11th Street and Third Avenue Northeast.


Police said an off-duty officer reported the shooting. Authorities said that officer and others provided aid to the victim, who they said has life-threatening injuries.

The second incident occurred near the intersection of 16th and Morgan avenues just before 7 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities said an adult male victim who had suffered a gunshot wound was found at the scene. The man was transported to North Memorial where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the shootings' victims.
