Tuesday, St. Paul Police reported an investigation into a homicide in the North End neighborhood has revealed the woman found dead Sunday was assaulted the day before in Brooklyn Park.

St. Paul police found the woman Sunday on the 1500 block of Jackson Street. Police had responded to the area on a report of a possible drug overdose and were led to the basement of a residence in the area where the woman was found dead.
