Police investigating fatal shooting in St. Paul’s North End

Police are investigating a deadly shooting in St. Paul’s North End neighborhood on Monday.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, multiple 911 calls were received just before 2:00 p.m. reporting a person who had been shot in the 500 block of Jessamine Ave. W.
When officers arrived they located the man who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot injury, paramedics who responded pronounced him dead at the scene.
Officers secured the scene and homicide investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
