UPDATE: Demiiyah Martin is safe after she returned home on her own accord Sunday.

The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public's assistance to help locate a juvenile girl who has been missing since Saturday evening.

According to police, authorities responded to a report of a missing child on the 600 block of Carew Drive. 

The juvenile in question, 11-year-old Demiiyah Star Martin, was last seen earlier in the day Saturday in the area. Demiiyah is described as a Black female, 5-feet, 2-inches tall, 130 pounds with brown eyes and long black hair with green tips/braid. Law enforcement says a clothing description is not immediately known. 

Anyone who has information on Demiiyah and her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
