One person was injured and another has been arrested after a shooting at a Walmart parking lot in Blaine on Monday.

A KSTP crew at the scene learned from police the suspect and victim knew each other and that the incident occurred in the Walmart's parking lot along Ulysses Street at about 5:15 a.m.

Police said the victim, in his thirties, was shot in the ear and has minor injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital and authorities said he is expected to be OK.

Authorities said they were searching for the vehicle in which the suspect left the scene and were gathering evidence, including reviewing surveillance video from the area. Police reported finding two spent casings near where the shooting happened.

Later in the morning, police announced an arrest had been made, but said the individual wouldn't be identified until the attorney's office officially files charges.
