Police: 12-year-old shot in Minneapolis following road rage incident

A 12-year-old was injured following a shooting that allegedly stemmed from a road rage incident in Minneapolis. 

A spokesperson with the Minneapolis Police Department said the incident occurred around 6 p.m. on the 4900 block of Humboldt Avenue. 

The child was transported to the hospital by his father. 

Police said the child suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. 

At this time, police are searching for a suspect.
