Pedestrian struck in St. Louis Park

A pedestrian was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center after they were struck by a vehicle in St. Louis Park Friday night.

According to a spokesperson from the city of St. Louis Park, the incident happened at 7:20 p.m. at the location of Yosemite Avenue and Excelsior Boulevard. 


The spokesperson said the driver stopped to help aid the pedestrian. There was no evidence of alcohol or other impairment relating to the driver. The pedestrian was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center in critical condition. 

The investigation of the incident is ongoing, however, no criminal charges are expected.
