The University of Minnesota is monitoring the deadly coronavirus outbreak.

Last week the University of Minnesota issued a health alert saying it's closely working with its partners, including the Minnesota Department of Health.

"We have lots of people concerned about the coronavirus," said Dave Golden, Boynton Director of Public Health and Communications. "We have people traveling with the University, so we do have people I'm sure with the University that have been to Wuhan, so we do have some risk, albeit very low."

There are no confirmed cases of the virus at any of the University's five-campus, or in the state of Minnesota in general.
