Northside Leader Died from 'Complex Homicidal Violence'

A Minneapolis community leader's death was due to "complex homicidal violence," according to the Hennepin Medical Examiner's Officer.

Sixty-eight-year-old Susan Spiller was found dead Thursday in her northside home at 5120 Dupont Ave. Complex homicide means that there could have been more than one potential causes of death.


Spiller was an artist and a member of the Lind-Bohannon Neighborhood Association.

Police are investigating the case and are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
