North St. Paul high school locked down after report of gun

A North St. Paul high school was locked down Thursday after it was reported that a student had a handgun, according to the North St. Paul Police Department. 

Police said the student involved was identified and arrested.

The North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District confirmed that an airsoft gun was located. 

The school remained on lockdown as a precaution, according to the North St. Paul Police Department.
