One adult male victim was shot and injured in a Saturday morning shooting in Minneapolis. 

According to a statement from the Minneapolis Police, officers heard shots fired in the 200 block of W. Broadway Avenue during a routine patrol. 


Officers were informed that there was a victim who was being transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.

The victim arrived at North Memorial Health Hospital shortly thereafter with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. 

The victim stated that he had been shot by an unknown person after a confrontation.

This incident is currently under investigation and no one is in custody.
