One man is dead after an apparent shooting in Minneapolis early Saturday morning. Police responded to the incident just before 1 a.m.
Police located a male in his 30s suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound outside on the 3900 block of Humboldt Avenue North after being notified of a ShotSpotter activation in the area.
Police performed emergency aid before being relieved by paramedics, but the man ultimately died on the scene.
Investigators from the police department's homicide unit have interviewed people who may have seen or heard anything.
The medical examiner's office is expected to release the victim's identity and exact cause of death in the coming days.
No one is in custody.
