After Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday comes ... Giving Tuesday.

Donate to the "Stuff the Sleigh" Campaign now through December 14th

The annual international day of charitable giving was created in 2012 with the goal of connecting individuals, communities and organizations around the world in a common purpose - to celebrate and encourage giving.

In 2017, an estimated $300 million was donated on Giving Tuesday alone.

Nonprofit groups like CaringBridge have used the day to kick off an annual year-end campaign that hopes to raise $1.5 million.

A release states the Richard M. Schulze Foundation, started by Best Buy founder Richard Schulze, will provide a matching grant if CaringBridge can raise $100,000 from existing or new donors Tuesday.

In addition to monetary donations, charities are also accepting donations of time and other means of support.
