MSP Announces Two Runways Open, Functioning

Flight operations at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport are back up and running Sunday morning.

MSP announced the news just before 5 a.m. Sunday. 


Saturday's snowfall caused MSP to issue a ground stop around 2 p.m., allowing no flights in or out. As the snow died down, later at about 10 p.m. airport officials said one runway had been cleared and the last remaining flight of the day was able to depart.
