Communities gathered together in an array of peaceful protests and marches once more on Saturday in response to police reform and systemic change after the death of George Floyd on May 25.

KSTP reporter Crystal Bui was in St. Paul, covering the Twin Cities Health Care for Black Lives protest, taking place at the Capitol. Another KSTP crew was at the Governor's Residence, where a protest occurred around 1 p.m.

Friday, negotiators for the city of Minneapolis agreed with the state to ban the use of chokeholds by police and to require police to report and intervene anytime they see unauthorized use of force by another officer.
