More human remains found in Minneapolis believed to belong to 36-year-old man

Minneapolis police report finding additional human remains in connection with an investigation launched last week.

Body parts in connection to this case have now been found at three locations—West River Parkway and Franklin Avenue Tuesday as well as Northeast Main Street and Third Avenue and Third Avenue Northeast and University Avenue last week.

Friday, Minneapolis Police spokesperson John Elder identified the victim as 36-year-old Adam Richard Johnson, who’s believed to be from Minneapolis. A family member confirmed the identity, adding that Johnson was a father of two.

Authorities are investigating the incident as a homicide.

Police said dozens of tips have been submitted via CrimeStoppers and that detectives are making progress in the investigation. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit information online.
