Authorities have announced they have located a body believed to be missing 16-year-old Thunder Brothersofall. 


According to a press release from the Redwood Falls police department, authorities have located a body believed to be Thunder Brothersofall.

The teen was last seen Sunday swimming in the Redwood River with friends. According to several juveniles at the scene, Brothersofall was caught in the current and swept away.

The release states that the body was found at approximately 6:11 p.m. half a mile south of the county road 101 bridge in North Redwood. 

The body was located by three men on kayaks who were searching the area for missing 16-year-old Thunder Brothersofall according to the release. 

While the body is believed to be the missing teen, an autopsy was ordered to confirm its identity
