Waseca Police Request Assistance in Locating Missing 16-Year-Old

UPDATE: Missing Waseca Girl Located Safely in Mankato

The Waseca Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing juvenile. 


According to a release from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), the Waseca Police Department said 16-year-old Madison Hjermstad did not return home from school Friday. She was reportedly last seen leaving a home in Mankato in the early morning hours of Saturday. 

The release states authorities are concerned for her welfare. 

If anyone has information on her whereabouts, they are asked to call the Waseca Police Department Dispatch Center at 507-835-0500. They should ask to speak to the on-duty officer.
