Authorities say an Eau Claire woman who was reported missing earlier this month has been found dead.

An alert from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said the body of 47-year-old Muzeyyen Ayan was discovered in Trenton, Wisconsin earlier this week.

The BCA had said Ayan was last seen on video taking the light rail southbound from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. That video was taken at 8:40 p.m. on Feb. 26.
