Brooklyn Park police searching for missing boy

Brooklyn Park police are looking for a missing 12-year-old boy.

Police said in a news release that the boy, identified as Izaich Mardis, ran away from his foster home May 2.


He is described as 4-feet 10 inches tall and approximately 84 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded-sweatshirt with "Beast" written on it and blue jeans.

Police also said Mardis has a scar on the back of his head and a distinct gap in his front teeth.
