Authorities in western Wisconsin located the body of a missing boater on Friday night.
According to the Dunn County Sheriff's Office, deputies and the Menomonie Fire Department responded to a report of a missing boater near the Lake Tainter Channel at around 11:30 p.m.
When deputies arrived, they found a boat, last operated by the missing individual, partially tied up with the engine still running and the lights turned on.
Following a search, deputies located the boater deceased in the water.

According to the sheriff's office, no foul play is suspected.
The incident is under the investigation of the sheriff's office and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
