Minnetonka police arrested three people after officers responded to a report of shots fired Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the City of Minnetonka said the suspect fled into an apartment unit on the 10000 block of Cedar Lake Road. Police had him contained to that unit, but had yet to make an arrest.

The department later tweeted that three people had been taken into custody for questioning, and charges are still pending.

The spokesperson said the incident is not believed to have been random, that there was no immediate danger to the public and that no one had been injured.
