Minnesota United in the middle of a 5-game road trip to start the season

March 27, 2019 10:18 AM

Minnesota United FC has gotten off to a good start in the 2019 season going 2-1-0 in it's first three games. The Loons will play it's first five games on the road before hosting New York City FC on April 13th in the first ever game at Allianz Field.

"We have a lot of work to do before we can even entertain playing in our first game at our new stadium. Right now I just want our team to focus on the task at hand and that's New England this weekend," says MNUFC Head Coach Adrian Heath.

The New England Revolution is winless in four games to start the season, however midfielder Ethan Finlay doesn't see this game as an automatic win.

"This could be a trap game if we take New England too lightly on Saturday. We need to stay sharp and handle our business. We want six points before we play our first home game. We're aware of how hungary they'll be, so we'll need to guard against that," says Ethan Finlay.
