Allianz Field will be the place to be on Sunday evening as Minnesota United FC hosts the LA Galaxy in the first round of the MLS playoffs.

"We've been working hard the past couple of weeks getting ready for this opportunity on Sunday. I'm happy with the teams effort in preparation and we just need to keep going as we get ready for a really good team," says Adrian Heath MNUFC Head Coach.

"I'm looking forward to Sunday's match against LA. They have a very talented team, we just need to play the game we're capable of playing and we'll have a chance to win. We'll need everyone to contribute, the atmosphere will be loud and we can't wait to see how our fans respond for the playoffs, it'll be a lot of fun," says MNUFC midfielder Ethan Finlay.

Rookies Hassani Dotson and Chase Gasper will be asked to take bigger roles in the playoffs for the Loons.

"Hassani and Chase have made tremendous strides this season, I hope they continue to make the progress necessary for us to be able to advance past Sunday's match. We'll need everyone to contribute if we want to continue on this playoff run," adds Heath.

The game on Sunday will be the first playoff game at Allianz Field with a start time of 7:30pm central time.
